ben-e-bike 175 Wh secondary battery with cable for "older models"

You can carry the ben-e-bike secondary battery with 175 watt hours as a spare battery in your backpack. This doubles the range of your child's ben-e-bike. The replacement battery weighs only 970 grams and therefore has a low additional weight. You and your child can take extended tours without any problems.

The ben-e-bike replacement battery fits the following models:

Who and what is behind ben-e-bike

Until July 2014, the bike world was apparently "normal" for the developers - everyone had a conventional bike in the garage and the topic "e-bike" was only known from stories. Then the persuasion followed for a test drive and the madness took its course - from then on the events overturned. No 14 days later was the first e-bike in the yard, another three weeks later followed by the motor-assisted bike for the better half.

And son Ben suddenly stood in front of us protesting and said "I'm not going with you anymore!" Explain to your child why it should move completely on its own when you can use the "electric tailwind" yourself. A solution was needed - but pedelecs were not really suitable for children. And what doesn't exist, you have to develop yourself. So the idea of the "ben-e-bike" was born. Incidentally, this project is named after our "chief test driver" Ben!

MThe implementation was made possible by the close cooperation with the company PYROBIKES, the specialist for lightweight children's bikes par excellence. The company produces various components for the ben-e-bikes PYROBIKES contributes - and therefore their owner Jürgen Fischer is also an integral part of the ben-e-bike team. Development and motage in Germany: Even if most of the components of the ben-e-bikes come from the Far East - the complete development and final assembly take place in Germany.
